This seventeenth century inn sits on the edge of Tytherley village cricket green and, despite its growing reputation, is still very much a friendly and welcoming local.
The recently refurbished bar and dining rooms are cosy and comfortable with original fireplaces, beams and charming character left intact. There are a couple of dining option at The Star, the traditional pub menu complete with its Homemade Pies, Ploughman’s Lunches and delicious Homemade Burgers, as well as more of a finer dining experience within its restaurant which also doubles as a function room for special occasions including weddings, birthdays and other calendar events throughout the year.
There is quality accommodation at The Star. Three bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities are set within a small cottage in the grounds, overlooking the cricket green.
